Retrospect Resilience is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit

Mike Margenau

Founder - President - Lead Mechanic

A lifelong, dedicated amateur mechanic with an interest in the application of systems thinking to work and community. He started Retrospect Repairs & Restorations LLC in 2021 after twenty years as a systems analyst in the electric utility industry. Retrospect Resilience 501(c)(3) was born to meet the demand he saw in the community. He and his wife, Erin, are raising three kids and have lived in Fort Collins since they married in 2002.

Nika Linn

Vice President - Creative Director

Nika is passionate about how humane and intentional design in our environments helps both people and the planet prosper. With a background in botanical science, they founded a houseplant company (Chez Flora) at 20 years old and renovated a shuttle bus into a plant shop learning lots of skills along the way. They see the transition to circular economies centered around resource conservation and repair as essential to a more sustainable future.

James Bishop

Board Member - Advisor

Here to defy planned obsolescence. He hopes to join Mike and others as fixers of things and throw less stuff away. His background is in organizational communications.
