We are a Community Supported Repair Shop offering the widest possible array of repair services.  It's repair services for the community, by the community.

How it Works

Bring your project by and meet with one of our mechanics to discuss your repair options.  If you decide to repair with us, we take down the project details and your contact information.  And then you offer a bid for the completed repair.  Our mechanics can then choose from the available repair projects based on their skills or opportunity for skill building, their interest, and the potential earnings.

 

Our standard policy is that we don't take payment unless the repair is successful!  Taking on that risk is our way of helping the community to consider repair as an option.

Volunteer With Retrospect

Have a knack or passion for repair?  Or even an aspiration?  Consider joining us!  Our philosophy is one of continuous learning and resourcefulness.  We welcome all!  Volunteer mechanics building their skills are supported by mentor mechanic volunteers.

And, our volunteer mechanics earn commissions for their efforts!  Our current rate pays the volunteer at 60% of the project bid.
